Hamamura, Robert Yutaka

In addition to Robert Hamamura, two other members of the Hamamura family were incarcerated during the war. Father Chiyomatsu Hamamura, an Anahola storekeeper, was sent to the Mainland with other Issei prisoners in March 1942. He died in the Santa Fe Internment Camp in August 1945. 

Robert Hamamura's brother, Edward Hiroshi Hamamura, was a University of Southern California student when the war broke out and was sent to the Granada Concentration Camp in Colorado.
