Honouliuli Internment Camp, Oahu Island
An eye-and-ear physician who maintained a clinic from his home on Vineyard Street, Kinji Uchida had lived in the islands for forty years and was married with four sons and three daughters at the time of his arrest. He spent more than two years under confinement at Honouliuli and died in 1946 at the age of sixty-three.
